The Tommy Schuman Foundation
The Tommy Schuman Foundation is a newly established (2012) foundation formed to honor Tommy Schuman and the legacy that he left. The mission of the Tommy Schuman Foundation is to forever remember Tommy, promote awareness and advance research of sudden deaths in young people, and promote higher education through scholarships to high school seniors, all to the glory of Jesus Christ.
Tommy woke in the arms of Jesus on March 31, 2012 from a sudden unexplained death. We continue each day to remember the impact that Tommy had on everyone. We are blessed to be able to continue his legacy through the Tommy Schuman Foundation.
The Foundation currently supports through yearly donations Dr. Ackerman's research at the Sudden Death Clinic at Mayo Clinic; Parent Heart Watch (an organization founded to promote awareness of sudden deaths in youth); and SADS (Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome) Foundation which promotes awareness and assists to advance research.
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace withy God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of God.
