We are thankful to celebrate 18 years in the life of Tommy Schuman. Tommy was deeply loved by his family & friends. He was a leader at home, in school at Lincoln Way Central, on the golf course, on the baseball field and at the hockey rink. On March 31st, 2012, our son, brother, and friend, Tommy Schuman, went to sleep at night and awoke in the arms of Jesus. We are exploring and learning more about the likelihood of what happened to a healthy and active 18-year old, with an apparent undiagnosed heart condition.
We are hosting the 13th Annual Golf Outing to celebrate Tommy’s life and to benefit the Tommy Schuman Foundation. The Tommy Schuman Foundation exists to forever remember Tommy, support research and promote awareness of sudden deaths in youth and award educational scholarships to high school seniors, all to glorify Jesus Christ.
This year’s outing holds special meaning — it marks the 13th Annual Golf Outing in honor of Tommy Schuman, who proudly wore #13 as a member of the New Lenox Rebels. We’re inviting you to celebrate his legacy, support the foundation’s mission, and enjoy a great day of golf, community, and remembrance.
